Cristina Kinon is an Emmy-nominated writer and director.

Most recently, she created, wrote, and produced an animated series about a feminist chickpea called “Bean There, Done That.”

Previously, she was co-head writer for “The Drew Barrymore Show.” She also co-created and executive produced “Adulting,” for Bravo Digital, and has written for several television projects including MTV’s “Girl Code,” Animal Planet’s “Too Cute,” iHeartRadio’s “Jingle Ball,” and VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live.”

Kinon made her directorial debut with her short film, “Ladies Room,” which premiered at Bread & Roses Film Festival in October 2023. She also wrote and produced the short film, “Jackpot,” which premiered at HollyShorts Film Festival.

She once spent nine days in Las Vegas with Mariah Carey, scripting stage patter for Carey’s concert residency, #1 To Infinity.

Before working in film and television, Kinon was a reporter for the New York Daily News for five years and launched one of their first-ever blogs re-capping reality TV called, I Love To Watch.

Kinon loves to write about pop culture, women’s issues, fun little goofs, emotional diarrhea, and excruciating teen anxiety.
